Campbell Thomas "Tommy" Clifton Campbell Donald "Duck" Sanford Campbell These three were the sons of: Olgen Menden Campbell b. 2/28/1910 and m. Camm Euny Campbell on 12/4/1928. Menden died Sun. 11/8/1998 in Lynchburg Gen. Hospital, Lynchburg, VA having resided in the Runk and Pratt Residential Home for her last three years. She was b. 2/28/1910 in Woodson, VA and was a loyal member of Bethlehem Methodist Church for 53 years. She was buried by Woodall Tharp Chapel in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery on 11/11/1998. Camm (Camm may have been from his mother's maiden name of Camden) Euny Campbell was b. 2/18/1913 in Nelson Co., VA the son of Nathaniel (Buggy Nat) and Nannie D. (Camden) Campbell. He d. 12/16/1981 at his home in Concord, Rt. 2, VA services having been held in the Bethlehem United Mth. Church and burial in the Concord Cemetery. He was retired as owner of Campbell's Service Station. Menden was one of 14 children of Mary Agnes Campbell (b. 9/20/1890) m. Alonzo Clinton Massie (b. 12/11/1887). She is buried in the Tommie Kidd Campbell Cemetary , Lowesville, VA. Mary Agnes Campbell was the daughter of William Thomas "Tommy Kidd" Campbell (1867-1944), age 24, b. Amherst Co. to George W. and Mary J. (Thompson) Campbell ; m. Isabella R. ( Rachel) Fitzpatrick, 20, b. Nelson Co. to A. B. and Agnes Fitzpatrick. Tommy Kidd Campbell was son of George Washington Campbell b. 12-14-1833, Amherst Co., VA; d. 5-31-1911 and Mrs. Mary J. Campbell b. 7-1-1831, d. 7-31-1908 buried in the Tommie Kidd Campbell Cemetery at Lowesville. She was Mary Jane Thompson, daughter of James and Elizabeth V. (Harvie) Thompson III and they were married 6/9/1857. Mary Jane was his first cousin. George Washington Campbell was the son of Washington Campbell, b. Cr. 1810 in Nelson Co., VA . He was 21 when he 1st m. Mary “Polly” Thompson. on 2-14-1831 in Nel Co. per Rev. Bailey Davis compilation. James Thompson was witness. She was the daughter of James S.Thompson, Jr. and Elizabeth Stevens. [4] “Mary P. Campbell, wife of Washington Campbel, died 8/15/1871” (per [18} family Bible). His second m. was to C. J. “Mate” Funkhouser 11/6/1874 after Polly’s death. Marriage Date: 7 November 1874. Washington Campbell was the son of William (George??) Campbell Taken from the Nelson Co. Heritage Book (middle name may have been George) Campbell, b. Cr. 1754 in Albermarle Co., VA. And d. 4/16/1836 in Nelson Co. was tobacco farmer and a partner in the warehouse business. He married Sarah “Salley” Goode, daughter of Daniel Goode 12/22/1785 in Amherst Co., VA. by a Baptist Minister, Rev. Benjamin Burgy.
