I am here. Just busy and not much research in Amherst at this time. I did however, email the list about a month ago to see if anyone on the list was still living in Amherst County. My great uncle and his wife are buried at Ridgecrest Baptist Church and I was hoping someone would photograph their graves for me as I was working on a book. But I got no takers. Virginia, she is almost certainly  one of my related Smoots (almost all of them were Maryland,  then Texas).
