Hello Molly: It would make me so very happy if our Johnson lines connected. I haven't been able to get very far with the Mississippi Johnsons. There is a William Johnson who was my grandfather's half brother. According to the 1900 Census> Grenada>Beat 1>Dist 34> Image 6 of 34> this William Johnson was born Oct 1872 in MS, his parents both born in Alabama. I have no other info on William Johnson. Lizzie died while kettle cooking in her backyard. She caught on fire and died between 1900 and 1905. Sincerely. My maiden name was Johnson and since it's such a common name.... it's rough to research. My Johnson's were from Grenada, Mississippi. All best! We are researching Johnstones fm Richmond area and are now in Scotland doing research on the family. Have found some near Kelso in the village of Fogo--1750s. Do not appear to be connected with the Johnstones on the west side of the country that have the title and the big home. Douglas Burnett ************** A bad credit score is 600 & below.
