He is descended from Stevie Mays, the daughter of Mallie Mays born in Kentucky. My searches have led me to believe that Mallie is actually Mary D Williams who married Robert H Mays from Amherst. Stevie Mays married Frank Morehouse and their son, Henry G Morehouse, is my SIL's grandfather. Would love to share notes. Since this is not my direct family any help would be appreciated.
