Stutan) b. abt 1835 & wife, Letha Staton (or Stutan) b. abt 1840. Children listed: Margaret-b. abt 1856, James-b. abt 1858, Douglass-b. abt 1868, and Robbert- b. abt 1871 (all shown as Stutan sirname), and Edward Walter Staton (not listed) -b. 23 Oct 1864 around Lynchburg, VA (my grandfather). Census stated home for this family was Pedlar, Amherst, VA. Anyone have any info prior to 1840 that connects Uriah Branch Staton, Edward Walter Staton (m. Mary Maggie Bunnell abt 1900-1905, and my father Robert Glenn Staton from High Point, NC?
