My Duncan line goes back to Rev. John Duncan (1730-1806) of Amherst Co., Va., who first married Jane Hall abt. 1754 in Albemarle Co., Va. (prior to the formation of Amherst Co.) and second married Sarah Camden abt. 1780. From these two unions, John became the father of at least 16 children: Elizabeth Duncan m.
