John NEUMAN & Betsy HARVIE, 26 May 1794. 5. Peter SAUNDERS & Dolly HARVEY, 11 Dec 1802. 6. Joseph HARVEY & Polly GOING, 18 Dec 1802. 7. James HARVEY & Rachel THOMPSON, 21 Nov 1803. Also, some additional information had come in on the following: 3. Thomas HARVIE & Betsey SEAY, 19 Oct 1795. "Abraham Seay surety". 4. Joseph SEAY & Nancy HARVIE, 27 Dec 1796. "James Harvie surety." Notice that these marriages are all around the same time period and probably have to do with Harvey's in the same generation. Debbie Harvey had come across a piece of paper without reference as to the source indicating that a RICHARD HARVIE and wife MARY, dau of JOSIAH WOOD of Albemarle Co., was the father of a JAMES HARVIE (#7) who married RACHEL THOMPSON (the one listed as surety for #4? - perhaps as her brother?) as well as THOMAS HARVIE who married BETSEY SEAY (#3); BETSEY HARVEY who married JOHN NEWMAN (#2); DOLLY HARVEY who married PETER SAUNDERS (#5); a JOSIAH HARVEY who married MARY GOING (poss. typo or misread of #6) and also a WILLIAM HARVEY who married a PAULINA BRYANT. Two other names, RICHARD and SALLIE HARVIE are also listed as children with no spouses mentioned.
