My 4xgr.grandmother was Jemima Thacker (b.ca 1755-d.1829), daughter of Pettis Thacker (b.ca 1730-d.1817). Jemima Thacker md. a man named Jenkins (first name not known for sure), and their daughter Polly Jenkins married Thomas Shinall in 1797 in Amherst. Chris Shinall
