Janet, there are people who scour genealogy sites and other sites to glean e-mail addresses for spam purposes. You might be able to get rid of them by going to your in-box assistant and instructing it to delete their posts from your server. I get a lot of spam because I sometimes write letters to the editor of on-line newspapers and I think they may get my addy that way.
