I am researching John Matthews, b. 1763 and Mary Ann Bailey, b. 1768. They were m. 1788. Children included Daniel, b. 1788, Richard, b. 1791, Ann S., b. 1793, John, b. 1795, William, b. 1797, Thomas J., b. 1799, Joseph, b. 1802, and Hezekiah and Elizabeth, b. 1804 (twins). They lived in Amherst (and Nelson Co.) from the early 1790s to about 1810. Other surnames include BARNETT, BRYANT, NASH, SKINNER, WRIGHT. I am looking for information on both John Matthews and Mary Ann Bailey and their families.
