My line in Amherst/Nelson Cos is William INNES/ENNIS married in late 1700s to Frances Martin, daughter of Sherod MARTIN, who was son of Stephen MARTIN. The ENNIS family moved to Greenbrier/Fayette Cos, WV in the 1830s, after a bad business deal ( of so the family lore says). Would like to hear from anyone who might be researching these surnames.
