I have traced him to the 1850 Amherst Co.,VA census with wife Louisa & sons: Henry, Seaton, Shelton, and Alexander. Zach and Alexander purchased property in Chariton Co., MO in the late 1850s. I have been unable to locate them in Mo or VA in the 1860 census. I found them again in the 1870 Lafayette Co.,MO census with Zach living with youngest son Alexander and his family. I believe they both died soon after that. Alexander's family migrated to southern Colorado in 1872 without either of them. Do these names sound familiar to anyone? Thank you!
