My main search covers Amherst and Nelson counties, VA: McGann/Magan(n)- currently I'm looking for a confirmation on just who my great-great grandfather, William A. Magann, (born in Amherst, later lived in Nelson Co.) married- I've been told several different names, but I have yet to find many records on him. I'm also looking for a list of Amherst men who served in the Spanish-American war. J.
