Mitchell Floyd is my brick wall. He is listed in the Rev. War...receivied a pension here in Amherst. I find nothing on him until he m. Polly Goolsby in 1818, the daughter of Samuel and Ephpha (Marr) Goolsby. Mitchel and Polly had issue: John Jame, Edward C., F. Mildred and Alexander. John and Margaret Marr were parents of Ephpha or Effia Marr. I think Margaret was a Rucker but have no proof at this time. Effia was one of at least 5 children. Mitchel' son, John James m. Polly Ann McCormick (parents were David and Mina (Finch) McCormick) his brother Alexander m. her sister, Nancy Jane McCor mick.
