David, Cynthia, etc. I understand that my father, Vaughn Edward Wilmer, born in Amherst County in 1916 was named after a Rev. Vaughan, a friend of my grandparents, The Rev. Edward Christian Wilmer and Annie Byrd Wilmer (nee Wilmer). Anyone have a Rev. Vaughan in their family who would have been active in the ministry, probably Baptist, during the first quarter of the 20th century in that part of Virginia? Ann Wilmer
