Does anyone know of a WYLEY JOHNS in Amherst County in 1898. I am not sure of the spelling of his first name. Some family members believe that he was the biological father of JAMES OLIVER TERRY, born in 1898 to SARAH (SALLIE) ALICE GREENE TERRY, who was not married at the time. It is thought Wyley was in Detroit, MI in possibly the 1950's or 1960's. Wyley kept in touch with James through the years. In the early 1900's, Sarah was with ADDISON G. TERRY, who was first married to SEGUS GREEN LEE TERRY, thought to be Sarah's sister. Addison and Segus married in Dec. 1892. I am also searching for a marriage record for ADDISON and SARAH ALICE GREENE TERRY. It is thought that they may have been first cousins. They had several children together. I do not know what happened to Segus. I would be very grateful for any help on this family, births, deaths, marriages. Thank you in advance. Peggy Strieby Lakeland FL
