Hello, I am new to the list and am wondering if there are any Kirkpatrick, Garner and/or Bryant families which were prominent in Early Amherst Co.(ca. 1750-1800)? I am seeking a connection to James Monroe Cash b. 1826 East TN who's father was a John from Granville Co. NC. From the names used by this family, there may have been ties to Amherst Co. VA and above names, including Stephen Cash who was from Amherst Co. VA during these time frames. Does anyone have any Kirkpatrick's, Garner's or Bryant's in Amherst Co. ca. 1750-1800?
