My records list Morris or Maurice Wright as born between 1765 & 1785 and probably before 1782, resided in 1796 & 1797 at Amherst County, Virginia, married Mary Lawless on Sep 29, 1797, at Amherst County, Virginia (as you have), resided 1798 to 1807 at Amherst County, Virginia, and resided in 1810 at Lincoln County, Kentucky. Morris or Maurice Wright was a son of 1807 (year of death) Isaac Wright of Amherst County, Virginia, (place of death) and Susannah (Ellis)Wright and grandson of 1767 Francis Wright of Amherst County, Virginia, and Mary (Hawkins) Wright.
