Hi List, Searching for the family and ancestors of PHILIP DAVIS who appeared in the Rockbridge Co. VA tax list in 1778. He most likely reappears in Washington CO. VA by 1782 and remains there until ca. 1806 when he disappears from the Washington Co. VA tax lists. His probable son was also named PHILIP DAVIS who married ANN HILLEN in 1803 in Washington CO. VA. Son Philip and Ann had 12 children including WILLIAM, JAMES, ANDREW, SARAH, REUBEN H., and JOHN BAILEY DAVIS. Any help appreciated, Nancy Helvey
