I do not think that my Elizabeth Hardwick remarried but do not know for sure. I know that she and John Mitchell had at LEAST 3 children: Zach, George, and Harry Ann (my line). I found an old obituary on the Library of Virginia digital web site that I THINK has a VERY good possibility of being my Elizabeth (Hardwick) Mitchell. It reads: "Lynchburg Virginian - February 20, 1837 - Died - On February 10, at the residence of her son, George W Mitchell, in Nelson County, Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell, consort of John Mitchell, of that county (p. 3 c. 3)" If I find a Wade connection I will certainly contact you!
