Wood was only guessing about Susannah Coghill [Wood had only suggested the possibility of Susannah Coghill being John Rucker's wife, Susannah]. Susannah Coghill married someone else. Susannah Rucker never remarried and lived to the old age of about 90. We don't know her maiden name and may never know it." So, while the link to the Rucker lineage is broken, the one to our McDaniel ancestor is still a viable possibility.
