Hi folks, I'm new to the list. I'm interested in Wilmers (var. Wilmore, Willmer) and affiliated families. Here is my line as far as I know it. James Wilmore | Reuben Wilmore* = Sarah (Sally) Stinnett* | __________________________________ | | Robert* = Sarah North William* = Frances Leah Nuchols (Knuckles) | | The Rev. Edward Christian Willmer* = Annie Byrd Willmer* | Vaughn Edward Wilmer* | Ann Wilmer * indicates that I can place them in Amherst Co. VA through marriage bonds or something else that can be documented. My grandfather, E.C. Wilmer died in 1945, before I was born in 1952 but I knew my grandmother. I still have cousins living in the area. The closest relatives are mostly in Rockbridge Co. but there are others scattered around, including some I haven't met yet.
