They are listed in the Virginia Census lists of 1820-1840 from Amherst CO. His son James Bartlett Goodwin married Mildred POWELL, daughter of William Cowper Powell and Betsy (Elizabeth) MARTIN, all of Amherst CO, as was Betsy's father James Martin.
