    3. Dear Jill, This is in reply to your query regarding Sarah Wright and for convenience is being sent to the Wright, Nelson, and Amherst lists as well. My records do not list your Sarah, but do list 1923 (year of death) Christopher Columbus Wright of Texas (place of death) and his wife Sarah Jane(Gann) Wright and two of their children, Nathan Dawson Wright and Aaron Wright. 1923 Christopher was a son of 1861 Robert Dawson Wright of Trinity County, Texas, and Eleanor (Dickerson) Wright. 1861 Robert was a son of 1838 James Wright of Adams County, Mississippi, and Frances (Dawson) Wright. 1838 James was a son of 1816 Robert Wright of Nelson County, Virginia, and Margaret (_____) Wright. 1816 Robert was a son of William Wright (Amherst County, Virginia) and Esther (_____) Wright. I would be happy to exchange information with other interested researchers Robert N. Brown, also C.C. and Sarah Jane (Gann) Wright's graves are in the row directly behind A.L. and Nellie Brown. Can this Nellie be the Sarah Aletha Eleanor WRIGHT? I believe it is, but I would like to hear it from someone else to be sure. > I would like to find someone who may have a marriage record of A.L.(or possibly Lucious) BROWN and Sarah Aletha Eleanor WRIGHT. They would have been married between 1883 and 1887. Also anyone with a 1900 Angelina Co, Tx census record for them would be wonderful. > I have been unsuccessful in every attempt to locate any information on A.L. Brown, other than his grave, and there his tombstone only says A.L. Brown. I need to find out what A.L. stands for. > My gggrandfather was said to be Lucious Brown m. to Nellie Wright and buried in Narroway Cemetery in Angelina Co, Tx. After visiting the cemetery and finding these graves together with A.L. Brown's d.o.b and d.o.d matching my Lucious Brown, also only a few graves down from A.L. is a Gordon W. Brown, and he was the son of my gggrandparents Lucious and Nellie Brown. > Is A.L. BROWN the Lucious Brown my ggrandfather (James Dewey Brown) talked about and is Sarah Aletha Eleanor Wright the Nellie Brown listed in an unmarked grave next to A.L. Brown? > If anyone can help me or have Questions about this confusing letter please let me know. > > From, Jill Parker > stevep5@qzip.net > > > ==== WRIGHT Mailing List ==== > All commands such as SUBSCRIBE, UNSUBSCRIBE, are to be sent to: > WRIGHT-L-request@rootsweb.com > If you have trouble with these commands contact the Listowner, > Jerry Wright Jordan, at nataletne@ix.netcom.com
