Firt son, Roland, believed to have been born about 1765, is my ancestor. Second son, Thomas, born April 1, 1769, was a Methodist Circuit Rider in Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Family moved to Surry County, N.C. (Winston-Salem area) about 1771 (he was on the tax list there). Any help about Taylors or Manns prior to a769 will be helpful. Thanks.
