He moved his family to Kentucky in the early 1800s. First to Garrard Co. then to Butler Co., KY where he died. His wife was Ann PAGE of Amherst Co. I also know of a James MARTIN, of the Parish of St. Ann's, Albermarle Co., who bought land in Amherst Co. on Raven Creek, from my Wm. PHELPS in 1770. Let me know if this helps you make a connection.
