I'd like to know more about that, too. My great grandmother Sarah Stinnett Wilmer had a brother named Talliferro and there's got to be some excuse for that. We have some prize names in the Wilmer clan -- e.g. Bunyan (after a Rev. Bunyan) Timpy (I'm told that is NOT a nickname) Garland, etc., but that one pretty much tops 'em all! P.S. The nicknames are even wilder! And all I inherited was "Ann." :-( -----Original Message----- From: Lorraine Adkins <Bigdaddy@doitnow.com> >Posted on: Amherst County Queries >Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Va/Amherst/524 > >Surname: Talliferro >------------------------- > >How does Talliferro fit into these two family lines?
