I descend from John and Elizabeth Lyon Farrar, b. in 1720's probably in Albemarle Co., VA, lived in Amherst Co., VA in what is now Nelson Co., VA, and moved into Person,Caswell, and Chatham Co., NC in the late 1700's. Trying to tie my John Farrar to the Albemarle Co., VA Farrar family. Also looking for Elizabeth Lyon Farrar's father John Lyon's ancestry. John and Elizabeth Lyon Farrar's daughter, Jean Farrar, b. ca. 1745-50 married Abraham Moore, son of William Moore of Albemarle and Amherst Co., VA and they lived in Person Co., NC.
