Doris, It is funny that I joined this list for information on my Penn line and here I am exchanging information on my husband's lines. I am looking for Creed Penn born ca. 1806 in Amherst Co., VA. -- moved to Smith Co., TN and then to Carroll Co., MS. Any Penns in your line? We have a good deal of stuff from my mother-in-laws house, which I cleaned out, but it is not sorted or in any order. So, there is no telling what I may find. My husband keeps saying he wants to work on his lines himself. However, he is so busy with other things that he has not started working on his family history, and in truth, I know more than he does about his family. We are preparing for a research trip to MS in late May. Some time this summer I will try and put some order to the stuff I saved from his mother's house.
