Thank you so much for posting this list of early settlers!!   Does anyone know the location of "the upper part of St. Anne's Parish?"  Several of my ancestors were listed on the tax records as living there from 1745 to 1747.  By 1749 they had purchased land on the Pedlar River in the vicinity of Tobacco Row Mountain which was located in "old Albemarle County,"  but current day Amherst County.  Are these 2 areas one and the same, or was St. Anne's more to the Northwest?
