Brown papers. I am mainly interested in Peter BAYS, who was on your list 1745-1747, and his brother William BAYS. Peter's old guardian Thomas STONE and son MARVIL are there, as well as William's guardian John Biby. I am guessing that either John Biby or Thomas Stone has married Peter & William's widowed mother Sarah OR one of their 5 older sisters. Peter & all of the Stones bought land by 1749 on the Peddlar River on Tobacco Row Mountain, which I now believe was more to the South in what was Albemarle County but is now Amherst County. Would you please see if you have any other information on Peter & William BAYS and Thomas & Marvel/Marvil/Marble STONE and John BIBE/BYBE/BIBY. Thank you so much for all of your help!!
