John Cary Whitehead (b. 1808; d. 1866) married Sarah Catherine Taliaferro. Their daughter, Martha Ann Whitehead (b. 23 Aug 1835 in Amherst Co., VA; d. 8 Jan 1920 in Cedartown, Polk Co., GA) married Thomas Hite Booz, Sr. in Amherst Co. in 1855 and came to GA. Thomas, Sr. and Martha are my GG'parents. Would like to share information re this family.
