The Amherst County Museum and Historicl Society published a book in 1999 called "Gravestone Inscriptions in Amherst County Virginia." I have been to the society when I visited Amherst and they have files of genealogy information. Also you can submit your information for their files so future genealogist may be helped. Rita Sandidge
