I am seeking info on a CArter family from Amherst co. VA. I am actually looking for proof of parents, and/or any info, but especially a death date for a Mary Carter. Mary, or it may be Mary Ann Carter married Alexander Buchanan Morgan in about 1825 in Lincoln co. KY. I believe Marys parents are Peter Carter and Elizabeth Sandidge. I wonder if this Peter Carter is from the same family as you inquire about? IF you have any light you could shed on this I would be very grateful and of course I would share what little I have!
