I am looking for information on the very earliest Baptist churches of Amherst County, Virginia and, in particular, these early Baptist ministers: John Duncan, Sr (died 1780s) John Duncan, Jr. (died 1806) William Duncan (moved to Missouri from Amherst County in the 1830s) Fleming Hall Duncan (minister for 26 years, died 1826) Any information on the earliest settlements along Pedlar and Buffalo Rivers, Pedlar Mill, Forks of the Buffalo, etc. would also be helpful.
