I am from that same lieage, and have the same problem. Was this the Richard Foster who was married four times? One wife being Tabitha Ballenger of S. C.? My ggrandfather was Alvin Martin Foster , his father Martin Haskel Foster, his father Richard Foster.(Richard Foster of S.
