Specifically, husband and wife, John Sadler and Nancy Hawkins Sadler moved from VA to Madison County, Alabama in the early 1800's. This John Sadler was born around 1784 and Nancy around 1788 according to census records. There is reason to believe that this John Sadler's father may have also been John or John W. Sadler.
