There were three references--"Amelia County Tithables, 1736-1771," "Amelia County Order Book 1, 1735-1746," and "Amelia County Deed Book 1, 1734-1743." Would appreciate someone making copies of pages that refer to John or his children. We are especially interested in locating information about Collins Hampton, John Sr.'s youngest son.
