There were connections between the Pillow family and the Richard Booker family in Essex Co. I have been told by a modern Pillow descendant in Virginia that Pillow and Booker descendants are still intermarrying in Virginia. Some of the Amelia Co. Pillows adopted the spelling "Piller." The book A melia County, Virginia, Marriage Bonds, Consents, & Ministers Returns, 1816 - 1852, by Thomas P. Hughes, Jr., pub. 4140 Chanwil Ave. Memphis, TN 38117, p. 35 lists a marriage on January 17, 1843: PILLER, James M. & Martha A. BOOKER. Joseph A. Scott, Sec. Can you identify the parent and grandparents of this Martha A. Booker? Thanks, Cleve Weathers Nashville
