Tunstall. William returned from Tn. and married "Dolly" Vaughan in Halifax Co., NC, and Peyton R. Tunstall lived in the same county at the same time. In Smith Co., Tn., in 1840's, Margaret Tunstall left a will naming William, Thomas, Charles and Margaret Carter as her children. William and Thomas both married into my lines. I think that "Dolly" was a name the family used for her and her given name was Margaret. Perhaps her mother was also Margaret. A witness to Margaret's will was James Vaughan who I think was her brother. I am still digging since I just found the marriage info on William and "Dolly" in Halifax Co. this past month.
