Posted on: Amelia County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Va/Amelia/619 Surname: Jones, Elington, Farley ------------------------- Looking for information on Benjamin Jones who on April 5, 1776 was a witness (by his mark) to a will by William Jones of Amelia County, VA (Amelia Co., VA WB-2, p. 202). Other witnesses were Peter Farley and Joseph Noble. Executors were Benjamin's wife Hannah and William Ellington. Benjamin may have been the son of William Jones and visiting from Bute County, NC when he signed the will. This I would like to prove or disprove. Any help will be appreciated.
