My direct line settled in the Charlotte/Prince Edward area from the late 1770's to the late 1800's. A number of other Hines family members moved to Ky. and Tn. James was married in Prince Edward, however, Prince Edward was formed from Amelia. We believe James was the brother of Caleb d.1786 in Charlotte County and Henry d. 1810 in Charlotte County. Elias Dejarnette, father of Marymiah, lived in a Eastern Va. county as did a Hines family prior to their move westward. Please E-Mail me direct to compare notes. Thanks
