My Grandfather died before my Mother, Jadwiga, was born. My Grandmother, Innocenta (her maiden name was Kili), did not know anybody of the family of her husband who deceased in unexplainable circumstances. Therefore, I have no information about my relatives from the Korycki family. Waleriana Korycka got married in the U.S. and had a son named John who has probably died. As far as I know, their relatives live in Gdansk. Their daughter's name was Jadwiga. Anyone who might have heard of Korycki's family, please, do contact me. Piotr Korycki.

William Goode of the Methodist Church in Tennessee was probably born in either Amelia or Prince Edward County. He was born April 02, 1803, and died in 1870. . . >> Have you looked at: "Virginia Cousins -- A Study of the Ancestry and Posterity of John Goode of Whitby," (1887) is about the Goode family and was reprinted in 1994 by the C. J. Carrier Company in Harrisonburg, Virginia. It is not always accurate, but it is a good place to start. Cleve Nashville
Posted on: Amelia County Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Va/Amelia/10711 Surname: Goode ------------------------- Rev. William Goode of the Methodist Church in Tennessee was probably born in either Amelia or Prince Edward County. He was born April 02, 1803, and died in 1870. He married Sarah (Sally) Collier Osborne, daughter of John H. and Susannah Goode Osborne, on September 30, 1824. I would welcome confirmation that his father was William Goode (born 1755-75 and died before 1820) son of Robert Goode, and his mother was Agnes Venable Hollaway (widow). One source says that Rev. Goode is cited in the History of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Vol. 4, by Nathan Bangs, published in New York in 1839. I have been unable to locate a copy of that volume and would appreciate hearing from someone with access to it to confirm the mention. I also would like to know when and where Rev. Goode removed to Tennessee, as well as where he and Sarah Osborn were married.

Posted on: Amelia County Queries Reply Here: http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/USA/Va/Amelia/10707 Surname: POLLARD, BUTLER, MORRIS ------------------------- In Court Order Book I Amelia Co VA 1735-1746 Abstracted & Compiled by Gibson Jefferson McConnaughey it states that from Amelia Co: Raleigh Parish was established in 1735---Nottoway Parish was separated from Raleigh Parish and established in about 1752 and then Nottoway Co was established in 1789. I assume that it contained what was once Nottoway Parish. This book also states that St. Patricks Parish was created and made to correspond to the bounds of Prince Edward County in 1755 (Prince Edw Co was formed in 1754.)
