Hello List I am trying to find information on a William Vinesett that appeared on the 1787, Goochland Personal Property tax list A. Shows: Vinesett, William Self and the following persons 1-0-0-1-0 and note (not tithable). Would this be part of the seven year exemption provided by the Queen for trades people who owned the implements of their trade tospur the economy of the times. I understand that the trades people were granted this seven year exemption to come to the colonies. I am also trying to find informaiton on a William Vinesett that shows up on a marriage bond list for Goochland Co. Va. He shows as sec. for marriage of William Williams and Canadace Meeks. This occured on October 26, 1785. Any help on this information will be greatly appreciated.
