P.S. to my cc. to you via Joanna6. A Larkin James Harlow (1813-1893) marr. Amanda Marian Bickley (1819- ) in 1835. He was the son of William Harlow and Elizabeth McGraw. He lived in Hanover Co. and died at Noel, Va. A son of his John W. Harlow (1848-) married a May Byers (according to one source) or Myers (which is what I read at the LOV). There is also a branch of Henrico Co. Harlows of whom one (a Larkin) moved after his marriage to Albemarle. One contact ([email protected]) has data on the Louisa line/s. A Mr. A. Hatcher Cole of Henrico Co. is of the Larkin James line. My father's line had Byers-Watts collaterals at least. He was only one of the eight siblings to have children. He (1902-1963) and all his sibs have been dead for many years. None of the above might answer your question but the name Larkin apparently was not as unusual as I once thought. DSH
