It was part of Peter Carr's estate. Although I'm probably connected to the BALLARDs of Albemarle I can't make a connection. I have collected all the data I can find on that family and others potential relatives in the area. I have an Elizabeth Dabney who married Capt. Thomas Pettus (c.1646-1698).
