I am still looking for my families roots and those of my husband's...Does any one have any information on the SHOWERS family...the name is not common in Va so most are related...also the name BROWN...yes I know that is a very common name...we were told that the one we were trying to find is a EVANS BROWN..but it may not be the right name...his wife was Catherine A Fisher...supposedly from Randolph County WV...other surnames involved in my search are: HEFLIN , ELKINS, MILLS, RUTHERFORD, McCAULEY, FISHER, YOUNT, GARRISON, to name a few..
