Lindsay C. Johnson , b. Louisa Co., 1859. Father, R. Johnson. Mother, L. Johnson. Was a miner, living in Alleghany Co., at the age of 24 yrs. Married Sarah F. (Frances) Hinkle, age 20. She was born and living in Rockbridge Co. This is all I have at the present, other than they moved to Carlisle, Fayette Co., WV. He was killed in a mine explosion in 1915. Sarah d. in 1922. They were my great-grandparents. I think their were some Johnson relatives in Alleghany or Rockbridge, as were listed in census. Also Johnsons in Fayette Co., that were miners.
