You wrote, I have a great grandfather Robert Fisher born 1805 in Albermarle. he must have been married twice. He was 36 years old when he married Elizabeth Mooney  in 1841 in Albermarle. In the  Bath County census 1850 it said he was born in Albermarle. Four of his Children was born in Albermarle. Frances born 1840 George born 1842 Sarah born 1845--------married Andrew J. Dennison James born 1848----------married Mildred Woodson Millie Ann born 1851 Bath Mildred born in Bath John Robert born in Bath. Susan born 1853 Bath Adeline born 1856 I would love to find out about any of these children. Suggestion: I bet some of those children born in the 1850s appear in the 1880 census which is online at <A HREF="www.familysearch.org">www.familysearch.org</A> It's a little tricky to use, but almost everyone is more clever than I at using the computer. The girls may be tough to research unless you know their married names. But look for the fellows. And recognize that someone whom you know as Benjamin Franklin .... may have been called either Ben or Frank or B.F. (or none of the above). You have to be clever about searching. And look for the Mooneys in the appropriate places (but they may have moved)!!! Good luck. E.W.Wallace
