Where can I find a history/ies of the development of the historic town of Milton, VA, on the south side of the Rivanna River near Charlottesville and of the proposed town of North Milton just across the Rivanna? These towns were developed ca 1785-1800. Would state legislation have been involved? If so, how can I find these records? I have some information from Rev. Woods' book. Thank you, Trueman Farris.
